Carol Berry retired from Oklahoma City Public Schools after 43 years. She worked as a teacher, Assistant Director of Special Services, and Elementary Principal. Carol got the honor to reopen Nichols Hills Elementary. During that time, Nichols Hills was a Great Expectation Model School for eight years. Carol was recognized as the the 7B Principal of the year two times, and won the James Burnette Principal of the Year Award. While principal, Nichols Hills won Blue Ribbon School Status, scored “1500,” and “A” grades from the SDE. Carol has also served as a Great Expectations Board Member for twenty three years.
