Natalie Godfrey

Natalie Godfrey is a Texas Instructional Coach specializing in instructional leadership, curriculum development, and educator support, with more than nine years of experience in education. Known for her relationship-centered approach and genuine passion for helping others grow, Natalie believes that every educator has the potential to inspire meaningful change in the lives of students.

Over the years, Natalie has taught first, second, and fourth grades, partnering with students, families, and fellow educators to create engaging, student-centered learning environments where every child can thrive. Her classroom experience, combined with her work as an instructional leader, has shaped her commitment to fostering collaboration, encouraging growth, and supporting excellence in education.

After serving as a Great Expectations Summer Institute instructor for several years, Natalie discovered a deep passion for investing in fellow educators. She loved helping teachers experience the transformative impact of Great Expectations so much that she knew she wanted to support and empower educators full-time. Through her work with Great Expectations, Natalie hopes to strengthen school communities and cultivate classrooms where every student feels valued, challenged, and capable of success.

A proud Houston native, Natalie earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a pre-medicine focus from Prairie View A&M University and her Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University, with an emphasis in Bible Literacy and Reading Intervention.

Outside of work, Natalie loves spending time with her husband and three daughters, exploring new places through travel, discovering local restaurants, and getting lost in a good book. She finds joy in creating meaningful memories with her family and embracing opportunities to learn from new people, places, and experiences.
