Life Principle Letters

The Life Principle Letters essay contest encourages elementary, middle school and high school students to reflect and write about the Life Principle that means the most to them – and why.

The program is available to all students in elementary, middle schools and high schools nationwide.

We will also recognize the most compelling essays and drawings and feature them on our website and social media platforms.

Essay Submission Information

  • Deadline: February 28, 2024
  • Length: 250 words minimum; 500 words maximum
  • If a student requires an accommodation and cannot submit an essay with a minimum of 250 words, please email us at greg@geok.org.
  • If a student wishes to submit an essay in a language other than English, please email us at greg@geok.org.
  • If a student requires an accommodation and cannot submit a type-written essay, please email us at greg@geok.org.
  • All submissions will be accepted via the online form.
  • After you submit your work, you will receive a confirmation email receipt to print for your records.
  • If you require proof of submission, print or otherwise save a copy of the confirmation email you receive.
  • Submit your work by the February 28, 2024 deadline.

Drawing (PK-2 only) Submission Information

  • Deadline: February 28, 2024
  • Student must be in grades PK-2
  • If a student requires any accommodation, please email us at greg@geok.org.
  • Drawings must be submitted on the drawing page provided below.
