  1. Model the use of rich vocabulary and word identification skills throughout the educational environment. i.e. curriculum content, Great Expectations methodology etc.Implementation Online Resources:
  2. Provide balanced skill and interest-based instruction that motivates learners to identify unknown vocabulary by applying word recognition/reading skills including:
    - phonics for pronunciation,
    - sequential reading skills that support text analysis to construct meaning

Brainstorm words that describe how Word Analysis looks and sounds. In pairs create a list of words that describe word analysis.

Join another pair, share lists, and add any new words. Join another group of 4 and repeat. The end result will be a list to be posted in the room for use and reflection.
