Training

YEAR-ROUND OPPORTUNITIES

ON-SITE TRAINING
Great Expectations offers a variety of options for on-site training at a school or career tech center. Such training can be customized to fit professional development needs and to mesh with open calendar dates.

SUMMER INSTITUTE
Training includes basic methodology for educators who are attending Great Expectations for the first time, and a variety of valuable elective courses for participants who have previously attended methodology classes. All Summer Institute classes are taught by GE certified instructors during four day summer sessions.

FOLLOW-UP TRAINING
An assortment of on-going training seminars are offered throughout the year.

DISTANCE LEARNING COMPONENTS
Classes on various topics are offered through interactive H.323 distance learning technology. Topic selection along with date and time scheduling is flexible. For information or to schedule a class, call 405.850.3539.

CONSULTATION SERVICES
Great Expectations is pleased to offer individualized consultation services from Mentors who respond to requests for classroom observations, planning/goal-setting sessions, problem-solving conferences, and specialized workshops. Coaches are readily accessible by email or phone.
